I was scared to death as I only ever play the violin alone by myself or with my Grand Daughter. I would like to say thank you very much to my violin teacher Laura Greene. And thank you to my Grand Daughter for recording the performance.

Thank you Sir.
Thanks for the video. That was too cool.🖕
If the output is high with no input, I would have assumed a low output with an input. Are pulses effectively a low output or is their another reason for the pulsed output?
Very good question. I made a video today looking at the input waveforms of the opto coupler. And the output waveforms of the opto couple. ruclips.net/video/zz5E9tcZQQk/видео.html I hope this answers your questions about the circuit.
very nice。
Thank you for you kind words. They mean a lot to me.
What did he smoke? Good stuff!
Very nice sirrr!!
Thank you so very much. I need all the encouragement I can get Haha. How is your shop going. I hope all is well.
Well done my friend. Congrats. 🎉
Thank you Matt. How have you been. Me and Tommy the cat are doing the best we can :)
Beautiful!!!
Thank you so very much.
Great effort my friend well done.
How have things been going with you and your family. It is good to hear from you again. We are limping along here. HaHa... But other than the hitch on my left side we are doing well :) Thank you for watching.
@@PeepawMcDonald All ok thanks. Weather is sunny and warm here in the UK. The warm weather helps with the arthritis and the long days are always welcome in summer. Sending you blessings and positive vibes across the pond God bless you all.
Good job
Peepaw you sure have come a long way in a few months, not sure if you notice it but it certainly shows in the videos. way to go and keep 'em coming.
Good'n PeePaw⚡
PeePaw is lucky enough to fix the problem with just one shorted diode only. Good job PeePaw you are a master of your field of repairing. Thank you for sharing your experience with us here.
Out of interest, how hot do you have the soldering iron ?
Very good 👍
GREAT VIDEO!!! For higher current apps, this wood clamp is not ideal....HOTSPOTS would appear inside the SCR. In this case, you will need uniform HIGH compression along the entire area of the SCR. In low-power apps, I have actually gotten a setup like this to work by simply applying pressure by hand!
Nice
So no power wire. Would this sensor be a PNP or NPN?
400 Ma is not norm. Usually 100 Ma

Hello Peepaw. I have a couple of Vickers/Kollmorgen servo drives that need repair. I'd like to send one to you but I have no contact info. for you. Please advise.
You miss what's most precious to you and you can only hope they know how much it is.
❤
hello, please I have a problem with an indramat TVD1.3-15-03 power supply, the problem is everything is ok but the L+ L- output is unstable and gradually increases to 397 Vdc instead of 320Vdc until the regenerative resistor heats up, please help me to solve this problem, thanks in advance
I would describe that "the so called pull up resistor in this video" as the Load. Load meaning whatever connected to the proximity sensor to receive and process the proximity sensor output signal.
Does this work for checking other i.c's such as the 555 timer, the op-amp and digital i.c's?
Yes!
nice work mr
Hello Sir, Can i ask what is the problem if that servo drive have an error 05. We have the same servo drive we are using. Thanks
Peepaw batteling a stroke still better than 99%, peepaw always rocks.
Nice work Mr Peepaw !!!!!
Thank you Sir for you kind words. That means alot to me.
That is certainly easy enough to do. Not the first time this sort of thing has happened. I bought a 'scope off of eBay several years ago that was listed as not working on one channel. Guess what?? That channel was set to ground too. Worked perfectly fine after that.
Nice to hear that your eBay vendor had the same malfunction that I did HaHa. I don't feel so bad now :)
Hello again sir! I wish you long life and good health. I hope that AC coupling mode never beats you again.
HaHa something much simpler will probably humble my proud existence HaHa. Thank you for you kind blessings.
Peepaw you are a fighter, leader and wisdom man. We all have ups and downs. I am happy to see your videos, great inspiration for us. Greetings from Istanbul, Turkey 👋
Thank you so very much for your words that encourage me to continue :)
Good recovery journey ❤❤
Thank you for a good future.

Dear Peepaw, I have a problem with a Yaskawa servo drive like the one that you repaired in 3 videos on this channel. The problem begins when the servo motor stops at its correct position in a CNC machine but it showed an over-current alarm. When I disassembled the drive I found a short-circuited diode its cathode connected to the V motor terminal. There are 3 diodes with their cathodes connected to the U, V, and W terminals, and their anodes are connected together to a one 1.5-ohm power resistor. This resistor is connected to an RC component which was burnt. This RC component is connected to the P1 ( IGBT output stage power ). I noticed that this RC component is bypassed by a relay contact when the relay is off. I replaced the diode and the RC component and the drive worked but when the motor stopped at its correct position the drive showed an over-current alarm as happened before. This time I found the IGBT module damaged and also the fuse. I replaced the IGBT and all the seven opto-couplers. Also, I replaced the motor power cable and ensured there is no mechanical overload. When I installed the drive in the machine the same scenario happened. This time the diode and the RC damaged. Does this mean the braking transistor doesn't work properly? May you help me to solve this issue? Thanks and Regards, Omar
hello pew paw, can you sell this circuit to me?
Please help me how to find surface mount capacitor voltage? 01. Code 4DT 3300uf 02. Code XP 220uf 03. Code 52 390uf Please help me.
Hello, I hope you are having a great day. Are these capacitors surface mount? Usually the 3300uF capacitor would be large enough to show the voltage underneath or beside the micro-farad rating. I am unsure what XP and 53 denote. I will try to do some hunting for these meanings. In the meantime, you can power up you circuit and measure across the capacitors. to determine the voltage across the capacitor. Then double or triple the measured voltage to give you a safe voltage rating for that capacitor. I hope this helps. Thank you for stopping by:)
Good morning again sir. Good to hear your calming voice again. What do you use to power on motor drives and servo drives for troubleshooting? Thanks again, peepaw!
Hello Sir, our shop used to be a knitting mill. So the building has 220VAC, 3phase. We have a fairly large transformer to step up the 220VAC, 3phase to 380VAC, 3phase and 460VAC, 3phase. This transformer is on wheels so we can push it around the shop. To places where it is needed. I hope this helps you. Enjoy the day. Thank you:)
@@PeepawMcDonald Thank you kind sir you are very helpful!
Hi, I've got one of these Allen Bradley Ultra3000 servo drives and when energized it reads 0 on the display and then both the red and light are blinking. I'm also unable to connect to it using a USB to serial adapter with the Ultraware program and to configure it. The red and green lights I looked up in the manual and when both of them are blinking like that it indicates that the Ultra3000 is in "self-checking" mode. I left it on all day and came back and it is still both lights blinking stuck in self-checking mode. Do you think its a common thing for the capacitors on these to need being replaced? Maybe one of them is bad or some other component? I know how to solder but not very good at electronics unless I have instructions. I wouldn't know where to start if trying the trace out a bad component. What would you recommend I try doing? Thanks
